We purchased a "lot" of mailboxes and newspaper holders from a builder who probably had them leftover from a large development job. The mailboxes were delivered to us individually boxed and they are in perfect condition. The newspaper holders were delivered to us piled all in one box and they did receive some minor surface scratches which actually gets "lost" in the textured paint finish. Overall.... this is a very good deal.
Made entirely of aluminum, this U.S.P.S. approved deluxe rural mailbox features a 1/8" thick extruded aluminum body with a 1/8" thick die cast aluminum front door and rear cover. Deluxe rural mailboxes feature an elegant textured powder coated finish available, an adjustable burgundy signal flag, and a magnetic door catch. The die cast door is attached to the body with a full-width stainless steel hinge allowing for smooth operation. This rural mailbox can be mounted on almost any mailbox post.
The manufacturer calls this color "Mocha" since it is in the brown-family. However, I think the color should be called Antique Copper, since the paint includes what looks to me as "copper veining". I think the first picture at right shows the color most accurately.

The included newspaper holder is made from heavy-duty aluminum. We will attach the newspaper holder to the mailbox. The newspaper holder can be removed from the mailbox. The newspaper holder cannot be deleted from this listing. We have exactly the same number of mailboxes and newspaper hgolders. They are being sold together as a set.
