The Janzer "Mailpost" line features textured powder-coat painted aluminum construction. It has a key locking front door and a large storage capacity. The door can be left in the locked or unlocked position. If the front door is not locked, then usually the mailman will just open the front door and place the mail inside. If the front door is locked, there is a covered mail slot where the mail gets pushed through. The mail sits on a shelf located inside just below the bottom of the front access door. That shelf can be relocated to ground level allowing the entire mailbox to store mail.

Installing involves attaching a mounting plate (included) to any flat surface (usually a concrete pad). The mailpost slips over the mounting plate and gets attached with four stainless stell screws (also included).
